Begin by subtracting 32 from the Fahrenheit number.
Divide the answer by 9.
Then multiply that answer by 5.

Subtract 32, divide by 9, then multiply by 5.

Example: Convert 98.6 F to C

98.6, subtract 32 = 66.6
66.6 divided by 9 = 7.4
7.4 x 5 = 37 Celsius
