That would be great! I would be very happy. It would be more proof that the Yankees are the greatest franchise in sports.

Yick. Heaven forbid. The Red Sox made the moves to improve their pitching. They have to be the team to look out for this year. Plus nacnud's team has not won in this millenium. Maybe it's the A-Rod factor. Maybe you need more than bashing bats to win in the playoffs. Maybe there is a quarter billion dollars worth of ego in that locker room. Whatever the reason, they cannot be the favorite to win the World Series in 2007. Of course, I loathe the Yankees and have absolutely no objectivity on the matter.

I would be very happy. They are my favorite team and I really enjoy watching them play. I wouldn't be surprised if they won 8-12 in the next 3 decades though.
