yes, triops are living creatures. triops have been living in puddles for centuries and still are today. they are mainly found in puddles in America where they will hatch grow bigger lay eggs die and start the cycle again. you can purchase triop kits like triop world or triop kingdom. a kit usually comes with a tub,egg packet, food and instruction leaflet. you can use any water as long as it doesn't contain any chlorine as this kills triops. triops usually live a month and a couple of weeks depending on how well you care for them. if you want to know more on triops then you could do some research on the Internet. i hope my info has helped!

Hello

My 10 year old had triops - we were all fascinated I suppose the best way to described them would be like a large tadpoles.

I think they lived for about 6 weeks.

Hope that helped

I actually bought the little packet and cage combo about 7 years back and guess what, They actually hatched and it wasw so cool. They grew to the size of quarters in about two weeks. They reminded my of Horse Shoe Crabs. Eventually they all died but I never found them dead so I am assuming that they ate each other, gross. Anyways its called Suspended Animation, the eggs survive under dry conditions for many years until you add water. I guess they would be in the shrimp or Plankton family but it was well worth the money and I will definately buy them for my son when hes old enough! There are some requirements but it was easy to take care of them for the most part.

Yes, they are real. Unfortunately they only live for a very short time - I believe around 2 months. You can get kits from some pet stores, and some large toy stores, with the food and eggs. Once left in water the eggs will hatch very quickly.

yes, they are real, and you can feed them Tetra min fish flakes. They don't live long, 50-65 days, a couple months.
You keep them in a bowl and feed them twice a day.
You can order the eggs online and hatch them. They are really neat looking, kind of like a trilobite you see in fossils.

Yes, they are real. You have to "grow" them. They look like little shrimp. They're good for observing and they have to have a special diet as someone already said. It's kinda weird because they come in a little box. Walmart sells them. Get one and try it out.
