What if I have a picture that I want on my computer? How do I use it on my page?

The picture needs to be uploaded to a server. If you are using a free web site, you can use a site like http://www.flickr.com to upload the photos. You just get the address fo the photo and add the code as per the other answerers.

If you are not using a free site, you should use an FTP program and upload your files to the server. Your ISP should have instruction about FTPing to their servers. Look on their site for 'FTP'.

Get into the habit of using the alt tag, which is pretty much a brief description of the picture, if you ever get into XHTML it won't let you leave it out.
