You must mean death TOLL. Poll is what they do to find out who likes Beatles and who likes Rolling Stones.

USA: 300,000 combat deaths; 400,000 total deaths, 0.25% of population

UK: 350,000 combat deaths

USSR: 8,700,000 combat deaths, 26,000,000 total dead, 13% of total population (1,000,000 of 26 million were killed by Soviet gov. themselves)

China: 15,000,000 total deaths, 3% of population

Poland: 5,000,000 total deaths, 14% of total population (moslty Jews)

Germany: 3,200,000 combat deaths, 5,600,000 total deaths

Japan: 1,300,000 combat deaths. 2,300,000 total deaths
