Ideally there are two adults in a relationship. However, when there is only one and the other plays the games you describe, the adult (you) needs to step up and do what needs to be done. What is that? You must require respect and what he's done is not respect it's called "game playing" and you have the power to end that very quickly. Just don't play, don't respond and tell him to not let the door hit him in the backside on his way out. We teach people how to treat us and you need to be a bit stern in your teaching.

Real men don't do that. Younger and immature guys will though.
My advice is to somehow curb yourself from hanging around guys that aren't mature. Move to higher waters and get in the groove with men who don't play games.

b/c when they see that your no longer interested in them it becomes a challenge to them and they begin to worry as to why the focus is no longer on them, another thing is your not giving them that attention any more so they begin to wonder what happened...funny thing is the minute you start paying them attention again they'll go right back to ignoring you....why? b/c it's all about the challenge sad but true.

Everyone wants what they think they can't have.
That simple.
You work hard to get what you want and you appreciate.
When it's given to you it's not the same feeling.
