Josh Howard does, because he' a better player than Tony Parker and has outplayed Dirk on on of the top teams in the west. Howards a great defender and a good all around player, and that was values by the Comish. Although, Baron Davis is quietly having the most consistant year of his career. He's hurt for a week instead of a month, averages 20 pts, 4 boards, and 8 assists, and 2 steals, and no one mentions him.
And to the Arenas hater.. Shut up. Gilbert is a better individual player that Billups or Hamilton. He's one of the top scorers in the second best team in the east, even with one of their top players injured. It sounds like you would want The entire Pistons sqaud starting because they're the best in the east.
Lastly, plenty of players could have been all-stars, Ray Allen, Elton Brand, Zach Randolph, Chris Paul (even with the injury), Joe Johnson, Michael Redd, even Marcus Camby, Emeka Okafor, and Eddy Curry in this center weak league all have legit arguements, but not everyone can go.

Absolutely not because Ray Allen is amazing. BUT Ray Allen has missed some games due to injury. Shaq obviously lucks out because the Center position happens to be the worst position in the NBA, so his injury didn't prevent him from making the All Star game.

Ray Allen is not good. Thats why his team is awful and they are sitting in the bootom of the Northwest division. Rarely has he carried his team to victory and this will be the second straight season he has done that. Thats why he isn't a real superstar. Don't blame it on the injuries, because T-Mac, Kobe, and Dwayne's teams are way better despite injuries.

both parker's teams and howard's team are in the playoffs as of now. Allen's team is a cellar dwellar, they stink. I think Deron Williams deserves to be in over Parker.

The All-Star team is a joke, Arenas (who has yet to prove ANYTHING with his Wizards) is a starter over Billups and Hamilton from Detroit. Every year really great players are excluded and mediocre players are included.
