What language do the Sims speak? How do I get it to be English?

Sims speak "Simlish". It's not meant to be understandable, and you can't change it to English. However, if you want to try to infer what they're saying, look at the thought bubbles, listen to the tone of voice, and look at the body movements.

i was told that they speak spanish mixed with german or something like that, and no you can't change it to english.

Its giberish, there not meant to be talking in any language...i sorry if it anoyes you its just how the game is.
