if u mean rims, no. it depends on brand of tire. not all rubber is created equal. some peeps prefer avon venom's, other's prefer metzler's. both of these are a softer tire and it's called being a 'stickier' tire...sticky being, able to hold the road better at high lean angles.

If you are racing at the strip then (custom) cause they are specially made to endure the stresses of racing. I you are just cruising and not performing for any reason make it lok good. If not then either polish, paint, chrome, or add some other type of coating to it. Peace D

custom wheels are for looks, now you can buy custom wheels that are lighter than stock wheels for performance, it's all in what you want and how deep your pockets are.

Aftermarket rims for dirtbikes are better.
Lighter and stronger (less prone to flex and bend)
