The newly hated Tim Hardaway. He may not have been the flashiest, but that KILLA-CROSSOVA made the NBA's elite guards look clueless and i cant even count how many defenders ended up on the floor when he went left to right

come on.. earl 'the pearl' monroe..'black jesus'.. no one had seen moves like his when he came into the league with the baltimore bullets..when he joined the knicks people said he couldnt play in the same backcourt with walt "clyde' frazier, but they won the nba championship together..earl was the innovator, like pistol a player ahead of his time , who changed the way players in the future played the game ..to watch him was heaven...a showman.....

Famous playground ledgends; Curtis Jones-Detroit Mi; Curt Smith-Washington D.C.; ..........Curtis Jones is now deceased but his ledgend is still talked about to this day at the famous St. Cecilias gym in detroit; He was Magic before Magic Johnson it the scene. Curt Smith is the younger brother of Charles Smith who played at Georgetown in the late 80's. He was the mvp and new comer of the year at Drake University in 1993. Signed in 1989 with Temple Univ. but ended up going to Compton CC before playing one year at Drake then going pro due to becoming
inelgible. I have to give him props I played against him and with him in Des Moines back in 1993.

The obvious answer is Jordan. However, I agree with Joel G. Earl The Pearl was amazing. He was ahead of his time.
