because I hate having to tip toe around about what i say because i might OFFEND someone. People need to grow some spines and not be so damned easily offended. We have reached an all time LOW in this country with this, no one has any balls anymore. Did you hear about that Kevin Federline commercial during the Superbowl? restaurant workers of America were WHINING that it made fun of them. WHERE is America's sense of humor? All the damned liberals are SO TOUCHY about everything that we have to make sure to say "homosexual African American mentally challenged little person" instead of "gay black retarded midget". (just an example) Political Correctness really makes me sick.

It does not stink. Because you do not understand it does not mean it stinks. Take "political" out of it and look again. What do you see? CORRECTNESS. If that stinks then you are grossly in the wrong. And freedom of speech does not mean we can insult who we like.

It stinks because it takes away our freedom of speech and thought. We should not be forced to sugar-coat our words.

If it is the way you outline political correctness, then i can see why people are repelled through the idea. i can not fairly imagine of a few thing that suits that definition of pc, besides the undeniable fact that.

You can not do what is morally right because you can get into trouble. For example: At a public or private school if a child goes to the toilet accompanied by his her teacher and the child let us say has a tummy bug, if she messed her undergarments as well as her self, the teacher as much as she would like to help the small child she could not all she can do is hand the child a tissue and ask her to clean him or herself, why? because she might be accused of fondling, molestation etc. etc. This is a small example of thousands. However this is not the fault of the teachers mind you, who hate it as well, but the politicians, bureaucrats and hidden agenda merchants that force this stuff through.

it is taking over on every action we take in our daily lives and will end up cloning man - we are humans and need to differ from one to the other - this is becoming to extreme and taking us down roads which will not be compatiable to a multi racial society.

It only works in one direction. (no offense to any of the following groups, it's not their fault PC has gone mad) For example, blacks, women, gays etc. can all call others exactly what they want, but if a white heterosexual male comes along, he is suddenly totally limited in what he can and can't say.

its a crafty deception, that has some good which is to camoflauge
the bad, it is the fault af all those who are stupid enough to use it. it is not law that it must be used, the people who use it are government employees in all the departments, non employees are having it rammed down their throats.
