Yes, Favre should retire. They can't just let Aaron Rogers rot on the bench.
And I'd say he is the 6th or 7th best QB of all time. The top five are Montana, Marino, Elway, Unitas, and Bradshaw. Bart Starr might be 6th, but Favre is definitely at least 7th.
We will not see a QB play in 200 straight games again for at least 20 years.

There was an interesting article in ESPN a couple months ago about 35+ yr old Pro hockey player who had won several Stanley Cups playing minor league hockey because he could. Brett can still play. He is still better than most everyday and on some days amazing. At this point he should play as long as he wants to and some team is willing to give him a job. Once he retires it is done forever. For some that's not a big deal (Barry Sanders). For Brett it will be a huge deal.

Yes, His receivers are only going to get better this year He should not have to force as many passes hopefully but he is still Brett Farve and will try to do what ever it take to win the game. I believe with him they will at least make the playoffs.

I think he is trying to chase Dan Marino's all time record and that will probably take a couple of seasons for Farve. He could play for one of the weaker teams. Farve could break the record and the weak team wouldn't have to worry about a playoff chance anyways.

Honestly u know he was a great quarterback but honestly i don't think he should of came back cuz u know the worst thing is which is sad 2 say he isn't like he was.... ppl don't want him 2 go out neither by coach benching him or also getting hurt really bad.... he should retire while he still up.... rather than them benching him and booing him because no one wants 2 be known as that when they retire... i know he loves the sport but even if his heart wants 2 play again his body probably can't.

If the perfect 2 seasons were any indication, the guy will be taking snaps utilising a walker. Favre IMO has become a drama queen. did not prefer to surrender administration in GB to Aaron Rodgers, needed a commerce to Minnesota then. All this retire, unretire crap pisses me off. He ought to've retired from GB the position he may nevertheless be respected like some type of a god. because he again with the Vikings and beat GB on their container, i do not comprehend if he remains as worshipped in Wisconsin. the guy ought to retire and stay retired.

If you're thinking for the team he shouldn't. They never developed a backup quarterback to some day replace him cause he starts every game. So he should keep playing saying as he is the best QB the team has.
At this point he's a middle of the pack quarterback with a few flashes in the pan. His age is showing.

Brett Favre made the right choice in coming back, realisticly he could play about 2-3 more good years and Aaron Rodgers is getting good experiance watching Favre. Favre is defidently in the top 10 for qb's, he had a pretty good year this year, he really cut down his interceptions and him and donald driver showed they still have a very good relationship and that driver earned his contract extention he got.

I think he's a good player, good QB...but I honestly beleive his time has come. He must think so too or he wouldn't keep claiming to be retiring. GB had an...ok season. I can understand him wanting to do better. But his time is done. His age is showing. Even if he doesn't retire I think he should occasionally sit out a game. Or else where will that team be when he does retire??

as a packers fan i was overjoyed to hear he's comin back...we have a really young team who needs some sort of veteran leadership...Brett is stil a top 15 QB in the league pry top 10 depending on the day...now all we need is either a new running back or ahman green to stay healthy n i think we will have a chance to make a run for the superbowl
