Well, think about this. no groceries. electricity is shut off. water is shut off. you have kids. its 35 degrees outside. your car has no gas, barely runs anyway, and the bread winner just so happens to be laid off, and currently in jail for a bunch of traffic tickets. (mainly no inspection and insurance, the car is junk and no way would it pass anyway. and other bills need to get paid before insurance). Is this person more likely to commit crimes out of desperation and good intent for the children...like hot wire the electric meter for light and heat, break the lock off the water meter , stealing it, just to have a bath for your kids., borrow 5 dollars from an eqally as poor neighbor, go to the store only to come home with 20 dollars worth of food to feed your kids..the other 15 dollars of food is in your purse.... Of course poverty leads to crime .....its called survival. , Now should it lead to violent crimes? No. thats greed and selfishness. it doesnt take violence to merely survive. And if you think about it, the more money a person has, the more they want more. if you have never had it you dont know what you are missing, so no need to be greedy. does that all make sense, i started rambling, sorry.

poverty is the consequence of differences of realizations of culture.
the conditions of society (non)provisional and (un)realized.
crime (or corruptions of most or all natures) is the activities and behaviours recognized as non-acceptable or intolerable to some and or others.
the behaviours/activities recognized as deviant of any one person is however assuredly human in its' endeavouring for personal and/or social acceptance.
a person responds with more or less knowledge and vision to human life.
poverty only lead one/other to the realization that haveing not the conditions/knowledges of mind and/or spirit in a body for life/enjoyment.
to know conditions to the contrary is to know what is acceptable or non-acceptable in society or community of a life.
and to know conditions which offend the least or/and support all
lead not to poverty or crime for any.....because corruption is a condition of unshared knowledges.
poverty do not directly relate to crime.
poverty...correctly termed refers to living conditions which do not meet basic needs for life in the moment and by which there is no knowledge to gain needs for life.
let our visions open for the courses to gain needs for life .......

It doesn't lead to crime but it's a good incentive. Crimes of necessity will invariable pop up if you are poor enough.
