My van feels like it's dragging when I put it in reverse?

It feels like it's dragging or doesn't want to go when in reverse, my husband told me to put transmission fluid in but the level is fine. Any ideas?

It's a 2002 Dodge Caravan

Check if your cables that control the emergency or parking brakes are fully released. If the cars old they might need inspection and adjustment or replaced.

depend,s largely on what you have....[year,make,model?].......but here,s an idea.......sound,s unlikely but........make sure your parking brake is fully disengaged.......check for stuck brake cable,s...............this will most affect you when in reverse!.....hope this help,s.
