if you've never worn high heels before prepare yourself for the pain! wearing them at home is so difft to wearing them out and about. try smaller heels - mid-size about 2 inches and see how you go with them. if you want to go higher then wedges might be a good choice b'cos the weight is distributed over a larger area, so easier to walk in. my top tip when going out in heels - take a pair of pumps or flip-flops(in summer!) in your bag, that way u can easily take off the highsters!
enjoy your shoes!

If you've not worn them before try wedges, there are lots about right now and they are much more stable than stilettos. Or you could try kitten heels, though I personally don't like the look of them. Also worth trying boots as they'll support your ankle better than a shoe so you might be able to manage a higher heel.
Look out for the ones with a bit of a platform sole, that way you'll look as if you're wearing much higher heels!!

The best thing would be if you went to a store on tried on different size heels so you know what you are most comfortable with. If you are someone who has never had or hasn't had much experience with heels, start small and work your way up! Wider (more chunky) heels will be the easiest and most stable to walk in, I'd suggest maybe 2-3 inches high? Wedges are also a good choice for starters.

I would actually suggest not switching to heels. High heels actually only promote shorter ligaments in your ankle and cause long term damage that, as you age, is harder to overcome. Get a nice sexy cut flat shoe and save yourself the trouble. Since you were born with the Y I assume that you don't really need the "height" that some woman crave. Go ahead and flaunt your already wonderful height!

Now i would prob go for something small u don't want to jump straight in with 4 inch ones or something u'll do yourself an injury! i would prob go for something like a wedge or like others have said a kitten heel, they are sexy and wedges are fashionable, plus u wont look awkward on them if u have never worn heels before! it will be easier to walk on a wedge but would prob more pretty in the kitten heel!

Probably start with a kitten heel or small wedge to get used to walking in them (I'm assuming you haven't worn heels before for long periods of time) Then as you get used to walking in those get higher and higher as you feel more comfortable.

Try on different inches of heels first, then go with the inch that best compliments your size, style, and of course your walk. Make sure you can manage in the heels.

I jumped right in with both feet when I wore my first set of high heels, and went with a 4" heel heighth. It is probably better to start small and work your way up, also don't get stilettos, cause they are harder to walk in. Practice and you will catch on.

I'm the same as you, a M2F, nice to see another on here.
I've been wearing heels for years but started with 2" for a while, now I can wear anything up to 5" but it's not easy.
good luck

I'd go for kitten heels- as well as being trendy, they're also elegant but not too high or uncomfortable to walk in. Wedge heels are also pretty easy to walk in too.
