Taxi drivers don't actually earn that much. If you work out the cost of licenses, car services, valits, petrol, sky high insurance, tax, mot etc

Then there is advertising etc If petrol prices go up then taxi drivers don't charge more. They get given a sheet from the council which tells them the max price they can charge per mile. Oh and another thing to pay for is the plates.
