I've not spoken to my close female friend for 2 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over her. She only wanted to be friends.

I've tried to get bck in touch as I've got over her now and I'm interested in another girl. She's been ignoring my attempts to get in touch-I've apologised if I wasn't tactful in the way I said I wanted no contact for awhie

My friends have told me that she's told them that she's ignoring me 'AS WE ARE ON A BREAK' - MEANING?

Also she thinks that I think of us as a couple!

Why would she say this - especially as I'm the one who wanted no contact TO GET OVER HER!!!

Advice

I just don't understand why she's lying!!!

Why she hurting-she wanted to be friends!

Women are complicated! I think there is a lot going on in her mind, I think the two months wasn't enough for her to get over you even though she said she only wanted to be friends. I think possibly to her friends she wants them to think that 'you're on a break' rather than saying 'he doesnt want to talk to me for a month'. I think you should talk try and meet up for lunch sometime and juust tell her what's on your mind, say that you don't want to lose a good friendship. Give her time to say what she's thinking, hopefully she'll come round and be reasonable. I just think you should email her your thoughts or tell her to meet up to catch up. Hope it helps and works out

Its a tough situation for both you and her. It may be that she feels kind of hurt because you are ready to move on now. Maybe she feels that you couldn't really have cared for her that much. Anyways, relationships are ALWAYS complex, especially for young people. You may not be able to fix this, at least not right away. I suggest you give it another month and then try again to talk to her. Maybe you could explain it in an email. If she IS a good friend, given time, she will recover her emotional balance and be able to recover at least some of the feelings of friendship you had. If she doesn't, it may be that she is NOT a good friend, but only wanted to play with your emotions. Or it may simply be that she is too emotionally unstable to carry on a platonic boy/girl relationship.

OK, I think that your story is conflicting.
First of all,are you afraid of commitment since you got too close to her and broke it off so you could "get over her".
Second, why would you get interested in another girl if your afraid of commitment unless your only in it for sex (sexual gratification).
Third, sounds like you both need to be honest with each other and stop playing head games.
And she's hurting obviously because she has feelings for you, even if she wasn't honest about it with you.
Again, you both need to sit down and talk honestly with each other concerning what you are looking for in a relationship. For you, I think it's just about your sexual gratification, for her I think she wants much more than that.

So the whole world revolves around you? You decided she was not to contact you and she had to do as you told her. Now you've decided she has to speak to you again and you expect her to come running. She's not lying. Just like you decided you needed a break, she's decided she needs a break. Treat people the way you expect to be treated.

Ok all women are from Mars so you are not meant to get us... give her a break leave her alone for a while. When she hears you are with another girl than she will come running back... We always want what we can't have!!! Good luck

the girl was not worth it. if she is making this big of a deal about the situation, just move on and find a different friend. if she is acting this way, it should be clear that she is not a true friend.
