well, given that all human beings are fallible (politicians included) and i can't agree with every single one of them on every single subject then i usually vote for the one that i agree with the most. right now i am leaning towards guiliani and the only think i disagree with him on his is stance on abortion. sometimes you have to compromise for the greater good. usually you can't have it all.

You may need to have a party to vote or you may not. Why not just vote the way your innate sense of choice tells you to vote. If everyone did that instead of voting the way the other guy told them to we wouldn't always be caught with some idiot as a mayor, governor or as of now President of the United States( the biggest idiot of them all ). :(

I vote Libertarian.

I believe in much less government, much lower taxes and a government that stays within the limits of the Constitution.

The Republicans and Democrats have both proven they believe in a bigger, more expansive and more intrusive government.

No one should be a single-issue voter. If all you care about is abortion, or the war, or prayer in school, or the environment, you're probably going to vote for an idiot who will screw us everywhere else.

This would be a factor because we are choosing which person we feel best represents our interests. One way to do that would be to find out whether their views on subjects that are important to us are similar to ours.

The environment. Without it we all die. Dems are pro environment, Repubs are anti-environment. So the chouice is simple.
