thierry Henry is easily the best the premiership has ever seen ignore those who say ronaldo! he will never live up to thierry!
I also agree that cesc will probably be the greatest midfielder in the world soon enough, he reads the game better than anyone I have seen.

This is a difficult question as it is mainly based on opinion and on club allegiance...however I believe that it can be narrowed down to a few players....
1) T. Henry
2) W. Rooney
3) S. Gerrard
....this list will be argued by many people! But i think that these are the three players with the most ability in the premiership. Closely followed by many others (Ronaldo, Robbern, Cesc, Lampard, Scholes, ect)
Looking at the three players on my list I personally believe that W. Rooney has the most ability in the the premiership based on what he has done so far. Gerrard is awesome, and very driven which makes him the player he is, and Henry's finishing and dribbling is top class, but Rooney's unique footballing brain more than matches them.
However i am both English and a Man Utd fan! ;)

If we're talking about the last few seasons, then undoubtedly Tierry Henry, followed by Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.
But on this seasons form, straight choice between Drogba and Ronaldo, my vote just goes to Drogba

Christiano Ronaldo Leads in goals and has the most ability and skill. Henry is good a scoring but lately he has been having a hard time(last couple of years). Rooney is not that great, too much hype. DROGBA is the man also.

C.Ronaldo....... a pacy winger who can provide perfect passes, crosses and accurate powerfull shots from outside the box. with 15 goals under his belt.I don't think he is just the best in the premiership.He is the best around the world

paul scholes for me, the guy is a genius, quick feet, great vision(well he had before his eye problem), super passer be it short or long and a vicious shot, no crap about him either, just gets on with the game however his tackling does let him down

Joe Cole but he hasn't played much this year
