You load music with iTunes when the iPod is connected to your computer thru USB2.0. If you use windows you will need either XP or 2000 to install iTunes.
On a Mac, it just works when you connect it to the Mac.

Depends which one you go for.. generally the more GB you get the more expensive they are. An ipod will start off at about 200 for 20GB going up to about 350 400 for a 60 - 80 GB model.

I've noticed that they start anywhere from $150.00 up to maybe $300.00 or so. You download the music when you buy a prepaid card to go with it. Go to the website the card is from and start downloading with the money that is on the card already.

it can be 200$ or 250 or more.
and if you get it colored or not.
target is a good place to get one.
