between 5 and 5and half hours usually but have known it to be done once in 4 hours and a couple of times in 6 also Egypt usually 2 hours ahead of us except for a short time around clock changing times when our dates are different then it only 1 hour

I would'nt worry about the flight time...I'd be more worried about how good the local hospitals are.....and how long you will be in.
50% of holiday makers going to Egypt end up on medication or hospitalised with food poisoning.
