Works on; Stickers, Oil, Paint, Shoe Polish, Tree Sap, Asphalt, Candle Wax, Tape, Glue & Grease, just to mention a few. It is also Non-Toxic.

if you have a lot of paint split , with a blunt knife try and remove as much as possible , then with white spirit on a cloth wipe the carpet , Always white inwards so you don´t spread the stain , then rinse straight away, then wash with a little of your own hair shampoo. rinse with a sponge making sure you have all the soap out . Then lay a towel on top put a heavy object on top of the towel this will help drain any reaming water from the underside of the carpet . leave over night like this . You most likely will have to sponge wipe the carpet again ,as sooner or later the water mark will come to the surface .

Latex? A damp cloth quickly.
Oil base? Paint thinner but be careful not to further damage the carpet
