20 years* 365days * 24hours * 20 miles/hour= 3 504 000miles If it is constantly on a ship or slow train. But it is probably stationary more than half the time so I would estimate about a million or so.

It depends. An ostrich egg is a container and it remains in a nest until the chick hatches out so it does not move even one mile.
