Hi,
To be honest, you are probably not going to find a job working from home. Any opportunities you find that require a start up fee or money up front is a scam don't get sucked in!!
I encourage you to immediately put these jobs out of your mind. Here are some of my tips when looking for a job....
Networking - Register at your local Unemployment Office (you don't need to be on unemployment to register for their assistance). They often will have networking groups on a regular basis. They also are a good source for the jobs that never show up in the paper or online.
Check your local paper -- In many cases the papers classified are now online.
Search Smart Online -- If you don't have a lot of time, spend most of your time at sites that aggregate the job feeds from several job search engines. Prominently these include indeed.com and thingamajob.com.
Organization -- I use a free online application that allows you to track your ads, jobs you apply for, send or print mail merged correspondence, and track your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com
I invite you to check it out and you'll be able to keep track of what you apply for.
Good Luck,
Karen

I work as a remote agent from home for a real company. I had to work in the office before being allowed to move cross country and keep my job though. I dont know of any that just hire you and let you work from home straight away.

You should consider any job where you dont have to have a resume and interview with them to possibly be fraudulent. Most telecommute jobs are based in sales, customer service or a specific skill involving website programming or graphics design.
There is a website where they post jobs daily that are only telecommute jobs. There are 3 new ones they posted today.
The link is in the source.

Here is an excellent site where you can make some extra bucks. If you would like to get paid for posting answers to questions, here is the place to sign up.
You also get extra bonuses that will boost your money. One of these boosts are cash boosters, which can help you earn up to $85. Another is searching the web for money. They have a built in web adress search bar in their site and you win money for searching particular topics. You can win up to a dollar everytime. They also have contests which has some very good rewards.
P.S. If you referal others you make extra money. Also try to sign up for boosters, for this will help increase the pay per post rate. The more that you post, the more you earn. How much money you earn is based monthly on how many post that you posted. They even pay you extra money to login. Please join!!!! It is free!!!

I have placed this in the source box. Maybe it is an idea that is right for you. I have been doing it quite a while now and I am free of any scams. I devote most of my time to this and I am well rewarded.

I have seen lots of things about home medical billing. I think it pays pretty good too. If this is the type of thing you are interested in, take a look at this information. It seems like it's a pretty good industry to be in if you like this sort of thing.
