The federal government made drugs a state to state deal. The state legalizes, then the feds take it away.
The federal government grows marijuana for several patients and distributed the cigarettes to each of these patients every month. If the federal government feels it is OK why shouldn't the states who's people vote it in keep it?
I am a legal medical marijuana card holder in my state. We have growers who are regulated by our state. We do not have pharmacies per say like I hear you have in your state. One of our rules we have to follow is we can not use in front of the general public, nor have plants etc. in site of the general public. Therefor it would be illegal for us in our state to open a pharmacies.
I feel if tobacco and that killer drug alcohol can be legal then marijuana should be too, for all. Not just for us with medical problems.
Thank goodness we are registered voters!
Information I got my information from about the federal government and the federal government growing marijuana is on the Montel Williams Show. He is a medical marijuana user the link is below for the WHOLE show.

Drugs are decided to be legal/illegal on the federal level. States have additional laws added on to that. So while some states have decriminalized "medical" marijuana, it's still illegal federally.
The federal government does give marijuana to a handful of former participants from a federal marijuana study from the 80s. Most of the participants of that study have died.
When some medical groups do a what if for marijuana in terms of treatment, whether it'll be first line, second line, etc. The highest it places is third line. Other drugs treat better without being carcinogenic.
There's never been a good study on the length of marijuana's effects. We know the effects last even after the person taking it feels fine.

Why is it that we need marijuana in the first place. Why is it that people want to kill their brain cells by smoking anything let alone Marijuana? Life is hard enough and the more we as a people remove ourselves from reality for just a moment, we are dooms to love something more important... Ourselves. As far as the DEA goes, the Pharmacy must have not be doing lawful sales of the drug. Let the courts straighten it out before you are so quick ot make a judgment.

i imagine it will be legalized. it isn't a gateway drug, people in trouble-free terms flow onto different drugs with the help of their personal decision, no longer because marijuana made them. i imagine that the drug will be legal in the subsequent decade, yet who's conscious of. i don't think of it will be used 24/7 yet on get mutually. I help it one hundred%. I actually were doing learn on the problem for type of a month now, plus college projects in the previous. I didnt understand a few thing again then besides the undeniable fact that. :P So yeah solid success :]

It should be sold by prescription only, for legitimate medical reasons. Not for use as a recreational drug.
I've seen some crazies who were on weed.
My son was prescribed Merinol, but his doctor was not legally able to prescribe as much as he needed. Merinol soothed his stomach and made it more likely that he would eat.

If marijuana was discovered today, it would be called a miracle drug. Cigarettes are legal and they kill more than anything other substance. You can overdose on cigarettes but not weed. God made weed man made speed. who do you trust
