I'm trying to intall it to my laptop with the USB. Any suggestions?

I have tried installing it several times. I keep receiving the same message..."There is a problem communicating with your printer." The USB port is connected so is the power supply. After it initially "successfully" installs the software, the printer still does not work. I have followed the directions for the Lexmark printer AND I have tried following the directions Windows Vista gave me and still no success.

what makes you think it';s not Vista capable? Vista, like XP should recognize mostly any printer and sort out the driver for you automatically.
Was it working with your previous OS?
