Personally I think the white needs to be blended with another colour especially a darker colour at the edge of the eye. Any colour will combine with white and then use your mascara.

I personally wear my eye make up this way all the time..as I'm quite pale it's the best thing for my skin tone. I wear shimmery white shadow, with a shimmery dark grey blended from the outer upper lids, about a third of the way across, and just highlighting the crease of the lid approx. 2/3 of the way inwards. Then I use a slanted flat eyeliner brush and blend the dark grey shadow from the bottom outer corner of the eye inwards approx 1/3, the shimmery white in the inner corner and outwards about 1/3...then using a mid-grey shimmer shadow, fill in the 1/3 that is left in the middle! Obviously black eyeliner pencil swept across the top lid right next to the lashes, and on the inner bottom lid. I find that using the same shimmery dark grey shadow on the uppoer lid along the eyeliner line really punches out the eyes. Sweep mascara over the outer bottom lashes first, then all the top lashes. (I only use mascara on the outer bottom lashes because otherwise it defeats the point of the white shimmer in the corner of the eye - it loses it's sparkle and deadens the eyes!)
(Traditionally this is called the 'smokey eyes' look!)

why not try using a white shimmery eye pencil if your not sure about the eyeshadow? Instead of covering the whole eye socket use the pencil @ the base of the eyelid and this will pronounce your eyelashes, making them look longer and thicker with mascara. This is 1 of my favourite looks that doesnt take long to do!

I think it's really 'mod' (modern fashion). If you use an thin brush to line your top eyelashes with black eye shadow and put grey shadow in the crease of your eyelids, I think the white eye shadow would look really good regardless of whether your thin or not. (what type of comment was that? it will look good if you're thin? w/e)

Yes. I just got a white eyeshadow and I love it. It makes your eyelashes stand out more especially with black mascara.

I think so! I use a white eyeliner and smudge it for softness. Then I apply my black mascara as usual.

if u have blonde hair yes. It matches. But dont apply too much even if u r plae because then it looks over done. If u have tan skin then go to a darker color so it matches more your skin tone. I hope this helps. :)

Not if you are trying to look normal. If you are trying to get some alternative look then perhaps. There is a way to use light colors in a layered up way.
