People always get spam when they ask this.

But, there is a real answer.

I don't know your skill set, so I can only help in general.

There are plenty of home office jobs, but you need to apply at REAL brick-and-mortor companies. Check Monster, Careerbuilder, etc.

I work with a company that distrubtes movies, I track shipments that are late or missing.

A relative calculates home insulation needs for a a contractor in CA, he lives in OR. He earns 6 figures at home with just a couple of hours a day.

A friend of mine types mdical transcripts for a doctor. I don't know her income, but she owns a very nice house and travels several months a year all over the world, so she is not hurting.

You aren't going to be able to find the jobs searching for "work at home", you will only find scams, such as those previously posted. Look for real jobs, but "home office". You may have to ask about the office, "Can I work remotely?", but there are lots of jobs available.

Hi,

To be honest, you are probably not going to find a job working from home. Any opportunities you find that require a start up fee or money up front is a scam don't get sucked in!!

I encourage you to immediately put these jobs out of your mind. Here are some of my tips when looking for a job....

Networking - Register at your local Unemployment Office (you don't need to be on unemployment to register for their assistance). They often will have networking groups on a regular basis. They also are a good source for the jobs that never show up in the paper or online.

Check your local paper -- In many cases the papers classified are now online.

Search Smart Online -- If you don't have a lot of time, spend most of your time at sites that aggregate the job feeds from several job search engines. Prominently these include indeed.com and thingamajob.com.

Organization -- I use a free online application that allows you to track your ads, jobs you apply for, send or print mail merged correspondence, and track your job search history. This site is jobsearchlog.com
I invite you to check it out and you'll be able to keep track of what you apply for.

Good Luck,

Karen

You should consider any job where you dont have to have a resume and interview with them to possibly be fraudulent. Most telecommute jobs are based in sales, customer service or a specific skill involving website programming or graphics design.

There is a website where they post jobs daily that are only telecommute jobs. There are 3 new ones they posted today.

The link is in the source.

Here is an excellent site where you can make some extra bucks. If you would like to get paid for posting answers to questions, here is the place to sign up.

You also get extra bonuses that will boost your money. One of these boosts are cash boosters, which can help you earn up to $85. Another is searching the web for money. They have a built in web adress search bar in their site and you win money for searching particular topics. You can win up to a dollar everytime. They also have contests which has some very good rewards.

P.S. If you referal others you make extra money. Also try to sign up for boosters, for this will help increase the pay per post rate. The more that you post, the more you earn. How much money you earn is based monthly on how many post that you posted. They even pay you extra money to login. Please join!!!! It is free!!!

buy and sell on internet via yard sales or get booth at local flea market. best items are used baby clothes, user designer items, romance novels. buy them used at yard sales and thrift shops. buy for $1, clean it and sell for $2. That's 100% markup! Not the fastest way to wealth but you are in control so you determine how often you work. it is as honest as you are.

also you may hedge your bets and try several different things. see where your best return is coming from and focus there. something about not putting all eggs in one basket..
