Statutory rape is when a person over the age of eighteen is in a relationship with a person under the age of eighteen. Child molestation is when a child is touched sexually by someone, usually someone over 18. There's a slight difference. You have to squint.

In my opinion it is the same thing. Any sexual contact with a child under the legal age is statutory rape, means while the under aged child claims to want to have sex, the adult should not, as the minor does not have that right to make that decision, according to the law. Child molesting sounds the same, is the same, but there is usually a different quote they use. To me, it is all the same. Calling it child molestation is a plea down from the plain fact that a person raped a Under legal age person. Legal age, meaning age of consent. 18 and over is legal age.

Statutory rape is sexual intercourse between an adult and a minor who is past puberty. Child molestation is a sexual offense by an adult on a minor who's still yet to reach puberty.

I always considered Statuatory Rape to be sex between consenting people, typically boyfriend and girlfriend, although underage. Child molestation may not consenting, and also with those who have not gone through puberty.

molestaton: is at the same time as an older guy or female s exhibiting their "body elements" to youthful children and want them to the contact them. Rape: is at the same time as someone does no longer prefer to have sex besides the undeniable fact that the oppisite gender receives mad and needs to have sex without the different one keen to. so basiclly what occurs is the guy who needs to have sex makes the guy that dosent prefer to, to have sex
