The only med schools that lock you into the undergrad are the ones that have special programs that guarantee admission into the med school.

In general, you can get into a med school from any undergrad. It doesn't have to be the same one. There's an argument about whether or not med schools even prefer kids from their undergrad.

No, you don't have to go there for undergrad just to go to medical school there...You can go where you want for college...Just make sure you keep your grades up in college...Grad schools look at that too...
