You need to find something else to occupy your free time. A great way is to get a part-time job, or volunteer somewhere. You simply have too much free time on your hands. Occupy your time better, and the problem will disappear.

Realize that you are going through mid-life crises. Do what the hollywood stars do. Reinvent yourself! Cut your hair, wear a different color lipstick. Wear dresses if you always wear jeans.
You might feel out of control because your role as mother has really ended. Your husband isn't coming home because he has found a way to deal with the crises on his end. Now you need to take back control on your end. Kick the kids out. Spice things up for your husband. Take up a hobby. Travel out of town for the weekend to think things through.

I am having a crisis too so I can empathize completely. I am turning 32 but I feel like my life is also spinning out of control. My hubby works swing shift so I never get to go out. I can't drive due to medical problems and I have five kids to take care of, some who have disabilities.

I think our problem is that we find ourselves stuck at home in a rut doing the same things day after day. It feels like there's nothing to look forward to because everyday is the same old thing, same problems....

I feel like I haven't really done anything remarkable in my life to make my family proud of me. I kind of just exist. I think maybe once you can figure out what interests you, you can maybe get involved with something in your community to boost your feelings of self worth...volunteering or something...

I hope you find what you're looking for. Maybe you can help me figure out how to stop the turbulence in my own life...

Good luck...

sounds like a mid life crisis.. typical for people your age...ge a job or go back to school and learn a trade that YOU like. not what anybody else tell you to do..take control of your life and either get the husband to pay some real attention or kick him to the curb.. plenty of fish in the sea for people of all ages

hey you only live once, and being unhappy all the time is no good

maybe get a job, or a part time job, take some classes, find a new hobby, do something just don't sit around

maybe you even need to talk to a professional

You are so use to caring and doing for others until now when it is just you, it is like being in a foreign land. meeting new people (you)

But take your time, get to know you and what you like/dislike and what you want in and out of life. this is your time, once you have mastered all this, then things will start to fall in place for you....Good Luck
