You know darn well that this is a race question!
Unless he does something totally out of line, he should have a chance. It is time for minorities to have some representation in our highest office.
The black people have been a part of this country since before it was formed. I don't mean just as slaves either; as free men & women. Why shouldn't a black person be able to become President?
If the Democratic party thinks he can win he will be on their ticket. However he is running 2nd to Hillary Clinton, which in it's self is quite telling. It shows that a lot of Democrats are willing to take a chance on him. Why not? Just because he is black does not mean that he is not a viable candidate. He is.

I don't think so. He doesn't even know his way around
DC yet. He needs to stay in the Senate and run for
office in around six years. If he should get in, it will be
White people that put him there. He's just another
millionaire who went to private schools and would
probably let the presidency go to his head.

I can't see him becoming President. Not because he's black, he just seems too young and inexperienced. I can't imagine him as President. Can you see him sorting out the Iraqi mess? I can't.
His announcement of his Presidential campaign was also badly done. He seemed to be on a power trip and was acting very arrogant. I didn't like that.

Of course he has a chance. He has more than a chance. If we can have a dumbass like Bush become president twice, why the hell wouldn't Obama be able to? Or are you referring more to the color of his skin?

Im afraid he's too much of a silver tongued devil. Promises promises often leads to deceit. He's not environmental enough and he want stronger unions which have killed many industries in the US.
