Too easy. Where possible stay home for the day, instantly not spending money. For going to working ensure the car has sufficient petrol(gas) for at least 4 day usage. Use roads where no toll has to be paid or car pool so it's your friends day to pay. Take a home made lunch to work, if in America do things for myself so as not to be feel pressured to pay a tip to a staff member. Credit cards are are just wrong in the first place. Why use 'someone else's money to make a buy something, Use a debit card that way your own money has no ridiculous interest rate. Buy groceries & cook meals at home that way you'll more or less know what is in the food. Home cooked meals cost just a fraction of the price that restaurants charge with their high make ups.

it's very hard at first to break the habit.
but it's a habit.
i now buy in bulk and do not look at ebay anymore
but if you need to shop, you can do it w/o leaving the house, you can shop at ebay or online or www.amazon.com
or go visit shoppers-anon!!!
i'm sure that there is a 12 step program for you!
I love to shop, but it doens't rule my life.
I've gone 1 month w/o buying anything, i saved all my money and wow!!! i had a lot!!
i kept all the reciepts when i shopped one month-- gosh we spend on a lot of junk we don't need or want.
simplify your life!!!
give away what you don't need or want or use.
it's only stuff!!!
clear out the clutter free up your life!

No, I spend money most weekdays, but usually only because I buy sodas at work. I've always been good at keeping my money in my pocket for as long as possible...

I only go to town to shop once a week,I live in the country,20+ miles from a town.Its easy to do in my case..=)

yes, it has been so cold that we haven't gone anywhere... but we did have to spend alot of $ when our damn pipes froze for being -40 here LOL ;)
