With all of the money spent on auditions, why cant someone put a SIGN on the door?

I agree. I guess they would rather have the contestants look stupid one last time as they try to exit the door. It would take all of 5 seconds.

Although I did get a kick out of people continuously running into the locked door, I wondered why didn't they just unlock both doors? Or put up a sign? But then I realized, that they probably wanted people to look stupid so people watching at home would have some entertainment!

Well... I think they don't put a sign on purpose.

Or at least, I think they locked it on purpose. All seven audition cities had the left door locked. They just want to make all the people who auditioned look stupid.

I agree, it makes the show more entertaining. Especially when someone is ticked off that they didn't get through, and they want to run out of there, but they hit the door. Haha.
