because stupid people continue to buy it, all her crap sounds the same. guys like it when she does things like cover herself in oil and dance.

Shakira continues to make music because she has millions of fans, sells millions of records and millions of concert tickets, and has won tons of awards. She is AMAZING, and she will continue to be amazing despite the fact that you think she "sucks."
Shakira is way more than "Hips Don't Lie" - she has written and recorded over 80 terrific songs in several genres. For the losers who claim "all her songs sound the same," I dare you to shut your mouth until you have heard at least 1/4 of them.

I think that she is a good colombian singer ,dancer and composer. Maybe it is that she is better singing and composing in her native language that is spanish. Besides she is a beautiful small lady.I have a friend that went to her concert in Guadalajara and she told me that she sings exactly like she does in the records and has a very good comunication with the people that goes to her shows.

i dont kno really but i totally agree with u! she is such a fake!!! and she cant sing at all, all she can do is shake her fake lil hips! And her music sounds like a 3-year-old sing along! i think she does it so she can get money, if she didnt do that then shed b a poor lil fake girl! i hope she quits soon! ; )
