I played center for our high school team, our quarterback was 5'8" and considered one of the best in conference. Another good example is Doug Flutie, who played for the Bears. He was also a Heisman Trophy winner. He's 5'9" and weighs180 pounds. Follow your dreams!

Doug Flutie won the Heisman Trophy for Boston College in 1984 and went on to a succesful pro career - mainly in the CFL. he was only about 5-8 or 5-9. Jason Verdasco, a qb for Illinois in the early 1990's was even a bit shorter than that.

I think it's a little short but if you're good enough it doesn't matter I once heard about a pro QB who was like 5'8" or something.

5'10" is definitely fine to play D1 football at QB. I think college coaches mainly look for a guy that doesn't make to many mistakes. If it is true that you can pass accurately than you will be fine.

Just a little, I'm afraid, unless you've got one shotgun of an arm. If you can get it downfield accurately a long distance you've got a chance, but you're going to find it harder and harder to see over the much bigger-sized O- and D-linemen. Keep trying though, or you'll kick yourself later for not at least giving it a shot. Good luck.

You might have some trouble, but hey you might grow if you are still in high school. I mean Troy Smith and Chris Leak were only like 6 foot. And if that doesnt work out, you are pretty fast so you could try wide receiver or something.

It isn't too short. You may have to shop around the schools though. Find one that is willing to let you play QB.

It harder for shorter QBs to see over offesivelinemen. Therefore they drop back futher making it easier for speed linemen to sack them

You can do it.
If there arent any, then YOu can become the first.
No one thought allen iverson would be able to play as well as he did because of his height
(okay so personal problems aside) he was great!
this can be you too.
Dont let your height stop you!
