I have brown hair, blue eyes, good complexion, I'm thin and fit, I do gymnastics, I have good style, and good taste in guys, but my friend says I'm kind of nerdy. I'm in honors classes, and I have a good amount of friends, but I'm not popular or anything. I have good grades too and I do my homework, and I don't have a boyfriend right now, so am I a nerd?

Are you kidding me?? You sound like a cheerleader or something! As for being smart... well, it's a good think that you're pretty and you actually have an IQ. It sounds to me as if your friend is either jealous or she just want to make you feel bad about yourself, so she can see herself as 'better', which she isn't. A true friend would never call you nerdy, but if she said it in a joking kind of way, I guess you could forgive her. If she was mean, then I think that you should stop hanging out with her.
You need friends that can make you feel good asbout yourself and like you the way you are.
As for the bf thing.. so what? It's actually better without one, because you have more time for your 'friends' (the true ones). Threy are the ones that matter the most. Trust me on that one.

no way your not a nerd. and keep up the good work in highschool its important it and it will be worth it when your ready to go to college instead of regreting that you did not do well in highschool. all your hard work will pay off and for your friend telling you that you are kind of nerdy she is prob just jealous of your good grades.

I wouldn't worry about whether you seem like a nerd or not. Just curious, does your friend make as good of grades as you? If not she may be jealous and thats just her way of trying to make herself feel better. I wouldn't worry about the boyfriend thing either. I'm sure you'll get one soon, just don't worry about it. The time when you get one is the time when you stop worrying about it. Believe me, I know from experience. :-) Just continue doind wht you're doing. You sound like you're on the right track and I'm sure you'll be a great success when you're older. :-)

nah u dont sound like a nerd. im 14 and in my school we classify the nerds as the really smart people, and the weird looken people. But no one is mean to them. So i dont kno if u would fit into one of those cat.

having good grades doesn't make you a nerd, acually nothing you listed made you a nerd, or being opposite of anything you listed would make you a nerd, being heavy set, bad skin, or hair or eyes doesn't determine if your a nerd or not, it's whether or not you allow yourself to be labeled.

far from nerdy.......you are beautiful and accomplished....you are quite a catch for some lucky guy...the guy you pick should be your equal and so should your friends. Pick new friends who aren't so jealous of you.
