I really don't think Simon Cowell is disappointed at the fact the Carrie Underwood went country. I think from beginning to end Carrie Underwood always sounded like she was going to become a country artist. And I think it fits her perfect.

Not disappointed at all because all the winners first record deal is with a company associated with the show A I. After she won they knew country music would be her niche and she is has been very successful.

I don't think so, he admitted on the show that she was better suited for country music...and to the person to said to go on Nashville Star for country music, who are you to decide what makes an American Idol?

I really don't think he's disappointed at all.
He's probably really rev'd up that she is as big as she is, country or no country.
She is a credit to his show no matter the style of music.
