action picture star Pizza isn't Chicago style. this is a thick crust style known interior the northeast as Sicilian. EDIT: Oops, at a loss for words that with Barry's. probably simply by fact the facades seem comparable. action picture star Pizza does have Chicago style. I purely have not been there considering... geez... 2000? There was some Pizzeria Uno places on the city (Lou Malnati's opposition), yet they have folded tents and left. I additionally remember one in Carrolton (northwest of Dallas), yet additionally long gone. you realize, you're no longer lacking a good purchase. i've got had Chicago style interior the previous (i became stationed at great Lakes lower back while i became interior the army). It became heavy. It became actually a pie made out of pizza components. It took 40 5 minutes to get one to my table and that i'd desire to deal with perhaps 2 products. My view: Pizza isn't meant to be eaten with a knife and fork, ya understand. What Houston needs are extra genuine great apple style pizzerias. i'm tempted to open one (I ran a form of interior the early 80s up in college Station), however the belief of spending 14 hours an afternoon status up isn't eye-catching in any respect. in fact, my lower back purely gave a twinge in sympathy. EDIT: Um, CookingPancake, isn't that 3 words? (LOL) :)

Check out Sam's Pizza. They are located on Highway 67 at Danieldale Road in Duncanville. I use to live around there and thought their pies were better than most pizza places down here.

I agree with Cricket... Sal's is just about as close as it comes in Dallas... with one exception...
a place called Brother's (not part of the just so-so brother's chain) at Meadow & Central in Dallas... NW corner of Central and Meadow... it actually faces Meadow but the address is:
10455 N Central Expy Ste 104
A friend of mine form Brooklyn swears it is as close as she can find in Dallas.
