Only if the information is actually the truth and not manufactured or slanted so called truths.
I have come to realize that all of this arguing between people on Y!A boils down to a pissing contest.
You can show people facts they ask you for and they will dismiss it because they.....
1. either can't wrap their minds around the fact our officials in large numbers are corrupt.
2.don't care what proof you show them.
3. feel the way the corrupt officials feel.....World domination at all cost.
OR 4. just don't care.
I will never understand how any American is willing to lose certain liberties for misguided security.
That's the same way Hitler misled the Germans.

No, because well informed citizens would realize that government is the cause of most of their problems and the solution to very few. They'd go back to a limited government, and away from the over intrusive government we have.
I don't see that happening as long as the vast majority of Americans are being indoctrinated in government operated indoctrination centers called "public schools".
