Hi,
I'm just wondering if a convection toaster oven will conserve much more energy then a regular electric oven and if it gives better results then a normal electric oven????? I want to conserve energy and $$.

It will bake things quicker if you use it for baking and will save electricity by shutting off more quickly. If you use it for toasting I don't think it will speed that up. Unless you are using it a lot everyday you won't save enough on electricity to make up for the cost of the new convection toaster oven.

I would suggest you stick to your microwave, if you have children, you will need it more than a Toaster Oven as no doubt you already have a stove/oven/griller that does exactly the same thing. I no longer have the kids at home and find for me the "Breville" toaster oven is great and easy to clean and I use it alot especially on the grill and bake mode, not so much for the toasting, as I use my regular toaster for that. Convection combined with microwave is excellant, but you would not get one in the price range stated, they are pretty dear. Happy Shopping

Smaller oven should give you energy savings.
