I really love horror movies. I haven't seen any really good ones lately though. Can anyone please recommend some movies that are scary and gory?

A really good one i think is "The Descent". everyone i know that has scene it thought it was really the only good scary movie that has came out lately

Have you seen any of the "Saw" movies?? They're quite good. I'd have to say even the story line is pretty good. It's not just a 'gory, scary-beyond-belief' kind of movie. It actually has you thinking! I just watched Saw 3 last night, my first time, and I have to say, it was pretty gory....Damn...

Idle Hands!!! One of the most hilarious, goriest, slightly scary movies ive ever seen. I say slightly scary because the hilarity of some things in the movie (like a pot smoking zombie) downgrade the scary factor a bit

Gorey? TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE BEGINNING and any of THE SAW movies, THE HILLS HAVE EYES (any version) but if you want a movie that you might not have heard of that is scarey (though not gorey) then I recommend THE GATHERING with Christina Ricci.

Not so much scary,but Saw 3 is GORY!! Rent it.You won't be disappointed!

Dead End, Brainscan, High Tension, 18th Angel way there all really good horror flicks

an american haunting...saw it today very good.....what about the 3 final destination films....or nightmare on elm street 7......there are loads and not knowing what you have and have not seen its hard to say .....but hope you find somthing to watch....we are watching shrek now....brill
