Is it just me or does it seem like all the really nice looking, kind hearted guys are gay? Maybe I'm wrong but when I meet a straight man he's very cute with a rotten personality but when I see gay men they seem to have both. I'm not really big into looks because I had a Brad Pitt look a like husband who was a jerk but I can't seem to meet any straight men who can even come close to my gay guy best friend

I get along better with straight men for some reason. My best friend that I had growing up is straight. Unfortunately it's other gay men I more than likely would have problems with. After straight men, I get along better with lesbians, and after that straight women. Overall, I prefer male friends over female friends.

I know quite a few gay men who are very nasty and catty. An old co-worker of mine used to complain about how the 'slobs' that shop at Macy's are so interested in their windows that they clog up the street. I would rather get in an argument with a straight guy anyday. Some gay men can be just cruel. Some straight men can be jackasses. I just figure that if they have a penis they can act like a jerk. Sexual orientation doesn't matter. I love men, but it's the truth!

Well maybe you just need to spend a little more time getting to know people. Make sure you be yourself cuz if you don't the "wrong" type of guy will think you really are the kind of person you are trying to be. And ot all kind hearted guys are gay. I know some who are straight.

I'm straight and happen to like coming to this section, that's to kadija, who says no straight women come on here.
There are good guys both gay and straight out there. i have a very close friend who is not so cute but a great person and he has a friend who is gay and gorgeous but so stuck on himself and snobby.
As for straight men, you'll find one when you stop looking.

Gay men tend to see things from a perspective, which shares a lot with the perspective of women, i.e., they both fall in love with men, etc.
Gay men endure a lot growing up. Women are confronted with their mortality, when they begin menstruation. Consequently, gay men and women have experiences which compel them to mature faster than straight men.
In fact, some straight men don't 'wake up' ever, and many don't have any thing which effectively 'rocks' their world, until their parents die, or they father a baby and have to pay child support or get married.

That is very true. Most straight men are cute,gorgeous, and hott. But mean and act like a jerk. Cute, funny, sweet, nice, caring guys, are mostly gay. I agree, that is so so true. Gay people also have better manners than straight.

Well it must be you. As gay and straight guys are in all categories mostly the same. You are married and you are more comfortable with gay men. That maybe because you feel secure more with gay guys. They are no threat to you or try to come on to you as a straight male. Most women who hang out with gay guys feel much more confident in themselves but really they are hiding from their fears of the straight male. You need to find a new source of straight males friends. Everyone has their good points and bad points. Your husband falls with in the realm of straight male I presume and are you including him in this great Long but jerk category? So I believe it is just you. Another thing gay men have tendencies that mimic the female instinctive actions and way of thinking. Therefore you will be closely tied to their way of thinking, as it is a thought process that is parallel to a woman's thought process.

No, there are good guys out there for the ladies. People just have too many high standards, that's really the problem. Noone is perfect.
