Okay im looking for an affordable drum machine that costs £150 maximum that is great for a band and wont let us down at live gigs.

I need a drum machine thats easy to use but has a big memory and alot in it.

I need a reliable drum machine that i will love and most importantly will hold up in a live gig.

If u know a drum machine like this please tell me. And please review it.

Hi, I am a solo musician and I make my own backing music for performance. I suggest that you buy a drum machine ( I use a BOSS-DR-3),and after you become familiar with its' workings, you can make your own programs which you can record on p.c studio program.eg Cakewalk. Burn it onto a cd, then if you wish, transfer to Mini-Disc, a format which is very reliable in live situations. Good luck!

My uncle always used a Roland for his pub gigs, but drum machines in general sound blinking awful. They sound so eighties and dodgy. If you can possibly manage without one then you should really try, because, damn, they ain't good

You could learn some beats on it, but you wouldnt learn how to play drums. Playing real drums involves much more than just tapping your fingers on pads.

Drum machines are good because unlike Drummer's you only have to punch the instructions into them once.

But I can't help you sorry
