Protects the wrong do-ers like rapist, muders and child molesters?
How can one person change that and if so why aren't we changing it?

Let me add the fact I seen some cases where someone gets murder and the person gets a few years instead of life, or rapist get only 6months, pediphiles get few months to some odd years and get release into society. That is what I dont get, why let out the 'animals' out of the cage when they will attack again. Would you let a lion around your children just because someone says they are not harmful?

Very good question, and being that I'm a victim (survivor) of the law system who failed me, a number of times, I ask myself that question damn near every day, when I see child molesters and rapists I personally KNOW, roaming free and the police not doing a thing about it! These guys are free because THEY have more rights than anyone!!! What gives????

Makes no sense to me, though....

You need to take a political science class to learn how our system of government works. there are checks and balances along every step of the way withi our system. But if you want to make a change, find out what the voting records are of your local politician on laws that effect you either directly or indirectly.. Then during the elction vote for the individual who represents your views. You need to understand who is responible for writing laws..it's not the president it congress..the house of reps and the senate who write laws.. the president enforces the law and the supreme court determines if the law is constitutional.

Because under our system you are innocent until proven guilty.

Until you are proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law, you are entitled to due process and a presumption of innocence.

In some cases it comes out the wrong way, but it is still the best system. You wouldn't want to have a system that punishes people just because they have been accused. They have to be prosecuted fairly.

we can change it by going back the very old system where the
cops are allows to beat the confession out of their suspects
but this method tends to put a lot of innocents in hospital beds

Your premise is wrong. Our laws do not protect them. They just require proof that they are criminals.

Its not our laws; its the liberals who side with mass murderers, gang bangers, drug smugglers......as long as they are not white.
