Your body/image...or are your dreams always seen from your perspective?

Yes, several times actually. All involved me being trully ill and not expected to live (actually happened). I saw myself from above in the middle of a very bright light. I knew that I was dying and that I was somewhere above floating watching my doctors working to bring me back. I heard a very deep and loud voice tell me that I was going back because my time on earth was not over. This happened to me 5 times as a child and 3 times as an adult. The most recent was when I had surgery on November 21, 2006.

Most of the time my dreams are from my own perspective, but I have watched myself do some things in dreams before. I remember one dream where it started out from my perspective and then I saw myself, and then I'd go back into myself again. It was a flying dream too :)

Usually, it is first person. It has happened often that I'll have a dream in the third person. Those are usually the most intense dreams. Then, on a few occasions, I see an image that resembles where I want to be, look, act, feel. Can't verify if it was me or not.

I've never seen myself, any image of me has been of someone else although I knew in my dream it was meant to be me! Normally its just from my perspective. It has taken you asking this for me to realise this!
