I have just taken off my acrylic nails Thursday night. Today they are still fairly long and I am please with the length. I know they are frail and fragile so I bought some NailTek to use on them. I am considering having silk nails put on this week but would like to have know if I can keep mine instead.
Can a nail person or manicurst (sp?) put something on them or do something to them to help me keep my real ones instead? Thank you

Right now you're Nails will be somewhat fragile for a while do to previous procedure. I suggest that either you have the silk put on or have a filler on top of you're own Nails. With both procedures you'll able to keep you're own Nails.

I use Original Nail Envy Nail Strengthener from O.P.I. It seems to really work on helping me grow and strengthen my nails. There are specific formulas for your particular nail problem. Hope this helps!

I really think the only thing you can do is keep putting a strengthener on them.
