11th September 2001:

There is a film called Loose Change, which has been watched by 100 million people around the world. It is NOT,in my opinion, propaganda for Al Queda, nor is it your typical conspiracy theory about events and incidents which have changed the course of history.
In fact,it is endorsed by the renowned Professor David Ray Griffin, who is emeritus professor at the Claremont School of Theology in California and a respected philosopher.
The video claims that the Bush administration was, at the very least, criminally negligent in allowing the attacks to take place. It also claims the US government might have been responsible and are now covering up the fact that it was perpetrated to allow them to attack Iraq.
In my scientific mind, something in particular makes me question the 'story' of events on that dreadful day:
Was the collapse of the Twin Towers caused by US explosives?-
Steel does not melt until 2,800 degrees F.
Fires of jet fuel burn out at 1,700 degrees F.???

Jet fuel is just diesel fuel grade no. 1 (residential heating oil is diesel #2), and when burning in an enclosed combustion chamber like it would have in the twin towers, the reflected heat will build in temperature. Then throw in the hundreds of tons of flammable material already inside the buildings, some of which sustain much higher combustion temperatures, also reflected back onto itself, and you achieve a temperature to melt steel. And it didn't need to actually melt, anyway--it just needed to weaken to bring down the building.

You can prove the theory yourself by using a solar reflective oven to harness sunlight to bake bread at 350 degrees F. The ovens are available in outdoors type magazines and probably Mother Earth News, or you can build your own out of any highly polished metal. Then, all you need is a sunny day above 55 degrees F ambient temperature.

While this proves steel could have melted without any more assistance, I personally remember a newscast on the dreadful day in which firemen were describing a series of rapid-fire explosions in the buildings as they were coming down, and the clip seems to have been suppressed since. In all fairness, the sound could have been caused by the explosive single-pulse outrush of trapped air as each floor was violently forced down onto the next. But if that were the case, we would have seen glass windows exploding out into the streets as each floor came down, which isn't the case if you review the collapse closely.

I know what my opinion is, but have too much to lose by expressing it in this forum.

I am a rabid, warmongering hawk, but do not believe civic duty includes criminal conspiracy and murder. But I do believe when the stakes are high enough, every government on earth exercises 'imminent domain' in reprehensible ways to protect itself. Best of luck.

Huh, let's see, many years of planning took place during the Clinton administration with many red flags which were ignored by his team, yet Bush is in office for 9 months, he had barely gotten his cabinet appointed and somehow it's his fault?
I think his ancestors created polio too, just to piss us off.
