There are many different designs of glasses out there nowadays. Some might make you look nerdy, others though, might make you look really cool.
I said a definite 'no-no' to contacts for 15 years. I've been wearing them for two years now and often wonder why in the world I didn't try it earlier. You should at least give it a go.

I have worn glasses since college (I'm 36 and have a "no contact" policy as well). I consider my glasses to be part of my wardrobe and have invested in several different pairs in various colors and shapes to fit my moods and outfits. There's something thrilling about removing someone's glasses during foreplay - it's like pulling back the curtain on the window of the soul. My husband has his "every day" glasses that look nice and wear well. But he also has his "handsome" glasses - they make him look sophisticated and delicious - which he wears on special occasions. I can hardly wait to get him home!! Something to think about - which looks nerdier: Chic glasses or someone squinting to see? Shop around. Some of my favorite glasses I didn't get from the doctor's office - I got them at Costco or Wal-Mart. And try on a variety of styles. I have both solid plastic frames and ones with the nose pieces, full and half-frames. After you've gotten your glasses, you can play "naughty secretary" with your partner!! Fun!!

To be honest, glasses are sexy these days. They give a woman/girl a look of integrity. Don't worry, you'll look great and if someone doesn't like them, then you know that they're not the person for you. Wear glasses and be proud!

for me when I see a guy wearing glasses I think it's a bit sexy because I kinda think he's smart and reads a lot, and when I see a woman wearing glasses I think she looks succsesful. of course it all depends on which glasses will you use.

Nerdy isn't what it used to be and some of those 'nerd' glasses are back in style full force (thick rims). You can get a great look with the right style, shape and rim for your face shape and features.

i love glasses. i think they can look cute, sexy, and can give your face a whole new personality. contacts are a good option (don't know why you don't want them?) but if you are totally oposed, you could get laser eye surgery. it's come a long way and people rave about the results
