i would use bleach for colors, soak the part of the shirt with the bleach for colors {not regular bleach- it will eat the fabric} and let it dry, repeat, until the stain is gone. this DOES WORK. Ive used this method to get out everything from baby spit up stains to seriously bad mildew.. my sons favorite shirt, got mildewed {coverd one sleeve, and the front} and this method took about a week but at the end of the week, the shirt was looking better than it did, and every single speck of mildew was off the shirt...
good luck!

I've worked in a # of inns & b&b's & what works best for food stains is the product by P&G (i believe) SHOUT (but the one that has the little plastic brush on the top & the gel version).
Scrub it in, super saturate it on both sides of the stain, let it sit for up to 4 hours at least for 1 hr & then wash on delicate (so it gets to soak) and only use cold water.
Good luck, if that doesn't work, go to a dry cleaner & ask them to try.

Does the fabric care tag say you can bleach? My daughter was a server and came home covered in chili, ketchup, chocolate etc. I cleaned her uniform with Oxyclean spray and, when needed, a paste of Tide left to sit on the stain. Don't dry the stain or it will be set. It may take repeated treatments.

My mom always uses amonia and baking soda on stains. Just make a paste out of it, put it on the stain and rub it in with an old toothbrush. Let it sit for about 1 hour and rinse. If it isn't completely out, repeat what you did. I hope this works for you as good as it always has for her!
